WHO WE WERE

 

Established in 2021, AEE was founded on the rock-solid foundation of the owner’s 30 years of experience in the industry, and reinforced by the experience and skillsets the rest of the team bring to your event.

From one warehouse of stock, to two, to three, to investing in a full refurbishment of our privately owned 30,000sqft warehousing & office campus, we have grown from strength to strength and are expanding entirely thanks to the experience and positive attitude of all of our team.

As Scotland’s foremost Exhibition Contractor, we keep it simple and effective. Our dedicated team of stand builders, electricians, graphic designers, and carpet fitters have a wealth of experience. We deliver, supply, and build exhibition stands in Octanorm White, Octanorm Silver, B-Matrix, lighting, sockets, furniture, carpet, and graphics. For years, we’ve been delivering successful exhibitions with a commitment to solving any challenge on-site. With a substantial warehouse stock and a location just 30 minutes from the SEC, we’re your go-to choice for hassle-free exhibitions

Here Is Our Story

In 2003 when Paul left his home south of the border and arrived in Glasgow, bright-eyed, bushy-tailed and a rucksack on his back, he received a very warm welcome from all in the exhibition industry in Glasgow. Working all across Scotland, he very quickly learned about the local cuisine (square sausage and Tenants) and after some time, he was able to translate the local slang dialect, and the locals eventually understood him.

He started buying electrical stock and, at that time, was able to service over 600 stands.

By 2014 he had built up his electrical stock and very quickly became a familiar face in the events industry in Scotland and in particular, the SEC, Glasgow.  He is welcomed and respected in any exhibition centre, conference hall or event venue in Scotland and in other areas of the UK.

In 2020 when lockdown restrictions hit the industry hard,  It was time to decide to either invest or sell up….. He decided to take the risk and invest in more stock.

We were recommended to Orientations and this was reinforced by SEC, we became the main electrical contractor for COP 26. And successfully delivered

2022 was a great year, delivering over 200 events. We invested in AEE specialist lighting, bigger premises and more shell scheme stock.

2023 we continued to grow and delivered over 250 events, including events in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Belfast and London.

We are always investing to improve ourselves, whether the investment is in stock or in our people, we strive to stay the best.
